Ed Huesers, of Grand Shelters, talks with us about getting out in the backcountry during winter conditions. Igloo Ed, as many know him by, knows how to have a good time in the winter. Ed is also co-owner/inventor of the ICEBOX®. He is very gracious with his time and knowledge as many of us who have hiked with him know. If you’re interested in getting out and playing in the snow in RMNP then listen in. Ed has tips for beginners and suggestions for gear and clothing. The gear geek is back with some tips on putting together your own first aid kit.
